The House · Bushwick, Brooklyn

What we keep

One form, on the front page, so we can tell you when the house opens. This page says exactly what it collects and what happens to it, in the same number of words it actually takes. Design preview pages linked from this site carry the same form, under the same rules, and write to the same list.

What the form collects

That is the whole list. There is no tracking pixel on this site, no analytics, no advertising tag and no cookie. Two things are kept in your own browser and sent nowhere: whether you turned the sound off, so the page can remember, and — on the preview pages only — a note that the opening animation already played, so it does not play twice in one visit. That second one is gone when you close the tab.

Stopping a script from filling the list

One thing exists for ten minutes and then does not. So that a program cannot post ten thousand invented names into this list, the database counts how many signups have arrived from your connection recently. It does not keep your address to do that: the address is scrambled with a secret key into something that cannot be turned back into an address, the count is deleted ten minutes after it was made, and neither is attached to your signup or used for anything else.

What we do with it

We email you about this house: when it opens, when tickets go up, and little else. If you ticked the box and left a number, Pulse Ticketing LLC may send you recurring automated marketing texts about the same things — opening night and ticket on-sales. Message frequency varies. Giving your number is not a condition of anything — you can join the list, and buy a ticket, without one. Message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to any text to stop them, or HELP for help.

We do not sell this list, rent it, trade it, or hand it to another company to market to you. It is a list of people who want to know when a door opens.

Who else touches it

Nobody else. No data broker, no ad network, no third party we have not named here.

How long we keep it

Until the season this list was for is over, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first.

Who “we” is

This site, this list, and the house it is for are operated by Pulse Ticketing LLC. That is the company that decides what is collected here, and the company to address any of the requests below to. Every “we” on this page means them.

Getting off the list

Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, and one click is enough. You can also write to us and ask to be removed, to be told what we hold about you, or to have it corrected, and we will do it. Ask at admin@pulsetix.ai.

If you are in a place with laws about this — the EU or UK under GDPR, California under the CCPA — those rights are yours by law and the address above is how you use them. We will not charge you for asking and we will not treat you differently for having asked.

Children

This is a haunted house and this list is not meant for children. Do not sign up if you are under 13. If you believe a child has, write to the address above and we will remove them.

If this page changes

The date below changes with it. If a change matters — if we ever start collecting something not on the list above — we will say so in an email before it happens, not after.
